If, in fact this is the last book of the Defenders of Shannara series it ended well, wrapping up loose ends that prevailed in the first two books. Personally I thought this book was the best of the three book series. the two intertwined stories meshed well. Terry Brooks series are always fun to read and this one doesn't miss a beat. The only thing that would be of help is if the included map of the Four Lands was complete all the cities and landmarks that are mentioned in all the books combined.
