Becomeing used to the style of language used took a minute, but the writing was so wonderful i could not stop wanting more. Fragile story, hard life. Loved the novel. Makes you think.
I thought this book was really excellent. I loved the characters and learning about live in the South Carolina Gullah women and sweet waters. I learned so much about racial injustice.
