Though I was a little worried, I loved The turning but was slightly disappointed in possession and ashes to ashes, not that they were horrible books, I just think I was expecting alittle more b/c the turning is one of my favorite books ive read thus far. This book is definitly the ending to a great series! It seems everything is put to rest in this book and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
In this book Carrie finds out more about herself. Through the whole series she's always been confused in knowing what she wanted out of life..with the men in her life and really just finding what she herself wanted out of life...her visions been blurred before and after she was turned but it all comes together for her here!
I expecially loved the henry's and her new found power. This book is jam packed just like all the others, amd you wont regret reading it!

After reading the first novel in this series I thought that it was a start to something great. The second book wasn't nearly as good, and the third was even worse than the second. I'm glad I sucked it up and finished the series by reading the last book. It was by far the best book out of the series, and I have a little more respect for this author now. I'm glad that Carrie's character didn't turn out to be as selfish and babyish as I thought she was going to end up. I think I'd read more from Armintrout, she only seems to be getting better. I'm looking forward to her next series Lightworld/Darkworld.

The fourth and final installment of the Blood Ties series. Its hard to describe, without giving too much away. The relationship between Carrie and Nathan is still filled with angst. There are hurdles to Bella and Max's happiness. Same cast of villians. Will the Soul Eater succeed in his plan to become a God? Can Carrie and Nathan stop him? I have mixed feelings about this book. I felt I had to read it, since I invested in the first three. Lots of action. Some suprises, expected and unexpected. The ending seems a little to good to be true. The book is fair.

This book is by far an amazing book, however, at the end it tends to suck. You will never believe what happens at the end.

All Souls' Night is the last in the Blood Ties series, which started off strong with The Turning then quickly took a nose dive. Readers new to the series should not try to being here, as this installment picks up pretty much where Ashes to Ashes left off. The Oracle is dead, Cyrus is alive (again), and The Soul Eater is still threatening to eat both Cyrus and Nathan to become a god. Carrie, Nathan, Max, and Ziggy must thwart his evil plan.
If you have read the other books in this series it is worth reading this one as all the loose ends are tied up. However, be forewarned that the gross-out factor is very high in this book - for some reason Armintrout goes nuts with the torture and gory descriptions. Fortunately Carrie's sarcastic humor is still intact, which keeps this book from being totally goofy.
