Sue Duffy is an author I have admired for a while. Her books are usually written very well and I enjoyed the mystery and suspense. I have to admit though, there is always that fear of an author not living up to your expectations. Well, my fears were laid to rest with this book! The Sound of Red Returning is Sue Duffy's latest novel and in this she weaves a tale of greed, suspense, murder, and intrigue. Where a best friend will sell out somebody because of money, you never know who is really on your side, and love comes from someone you barely know. I was pulled into this from the beginning pages and didn't stop reading until I was done with it. This is a smaller book but I read it in half a day. If you love a good mystery, you will have to pick this one up. Check it out!!
