This book is a quick look at what you can't have and what you can have. If you have the other South Beach Diet book, this can be useful.

A good list but organized really strangely - by food groups that don't make sense to me. Avocado in list of "fats" not vegetables or fruits. Hard to find things you look for specifically. That said, I do use it often to check on foods we aren't sure about.
