I haven't finished the book yet, but I'm absolutely enchanted with Nabokov's description of his Russian upbringing and his childhood (and of course, later adult) obsession with butterflies. If you were also a lonely or solitary child, you'll relate even though the details of his life were quite different from yours. It's extremely well written, of course.
