A great children's book that is entertaining, yet provides a good moral that each child is unique and needs only to find the worth within themselves instead of seeking the approval of others.

One of my all time favorite childrens books! Very good story about not letting others hurt you with what they say.

Possibly one of the most wonderful children's books ever written, a book that can teach adults as they are reading to their children. When I was going through a personal crisis, my sister sent this to me with sticky notes all over it, proving what a great book it is for adults as well who need to be reassured of their specialness.
Excellent story for all ages!
I buy every hardcover copy of this book I can find. I make sure every grandchild has a copy of their own. I have given it as a birthday gift to people of all ages, as a graduation gift, as a baby shower or new baby gift...basically any time I feel that someone I know does not understand how special they are, how unique, how lovingly they were created and chosen. If you seem to care too much about what "they" think, then you need to read this book, memorize it, get it into your heart.
This book is a WONDERFUL, INSPIRING tool that will help to instill an understanding of what and who God is to us. It is a heart-warming tale of an adorable little wooden-person who faces the "judgement of others" - and overcomes his own self-doubt by "meeting with his maker", so to speak.
While this is a children's book (and my 4-yr-old has me read it every day), it deeply moved me as well.

A good lesson in learning what God thinks of you is more important than what others think.
Great book! My seven year old grandson loved it so much he clapped after we read it the first time. He loves reading it himself too. Love the story, the artwork and the message. Highly recommended!
excellent condition; been taken care of.
This is a lovely story about feeling good about yourself; we all belong to God, and what others think is not what it is about, for it is about what God and we, ourselves, think of ourselves.
A terrific story.

I ordered this book for our counseling practice. It is our hope that children and adults alike will see themselves as worthy, loved, individuals.Thank you for sharing it with us.
Such a sweet children's book....every child should have a copy
AWESOME book about thinking positively about yourself, and a great message about how to re-frame what others think about you (instead of taking negative comments and labels given by others personally). If you are a Christian, you will love the message this book offers about a person's relationship with the Creator! But even if you're not a Christian, that message isn't blantantly obvious, it's still a great book about self-esteem and great way to think about others that bully.
EXCELLENT book! I read it to my four year old- the deeper meaning was a little over her head but she still enjoyed it, I will definitely be giving this as a gift to my older niece (7 years old) this Christmas :)
This is an excellent book for every library - young and old. It also makes a great gift book.
Sweet story that can apply to anyone, anywhere, and anytime.
This the hardcover board book edition.
This is such an awesone book! My children are grown but I keep a copy to read to grandkids, nieces and nephews.
