Think this one was written mostly to set the readers up for the storyline in book 3. Characters are still pretty interesting but you realize mid-read that the REAL story would be in the book to follow. Zoe doesn't really solve any mysteries this time around...just falls into the answers in a confused state.
Love this series- interesting idea of a woman who can travel to another realm, interesting mysteries she has to solve.
