A wonderful love story that moved me to tears! You need to have your disbelief suspended for this outing as the hero was born in Atlantis and can literally move mountains to win his lady's love. Delightful rendering of parent/child relationships but momentarily preachy parts about a certain kind of fishing line. A great read as long as you're in it for the romance.
Well, here I am again! I am now hooked on the Spellbound Falls Series. I am always a sucker for Time Travel and Paranormal stories. This beginning story is a good one. I like all of the characters. I didn't think I was going to like the heroine, but she pulled through in the end. Thank goodness. It was a close thing! Recommend!
Enchanting story between a mythical god and a mortal being. Everyone in this tale was entertaining; Mac and Olivia and their children, and their families and friends. Underhanded dealings and family secrets were rampant, but Mac's ability to sense and understand Olivia's insecurities and to give her the strong emotional support she desperately longed for was thrilling. There wasn't a whole lot of sex going on between the two, but the sexual tension was always simmering just beneath the surface, which was constantly setting off my romantic imaginings. I just loved the whole moving mountains bit. And all for the love of Olivia--wow. Good writing, engaging plot, and one seriously sexy and totally delicious hero/god helped to round up one thoroughly romantic read. 4.5 stars.
