An interesting story, but not well suited for audio. The book and the narration jump around in timelines, and it can be hard to follow, even if you've read the book. I do like the series, and have read the other books, but when you abridge this partular book, you lose a lot of continuity and story line, since it was sparse to begin with.

Not terrible, but very disjointed. Jumps in time/plots that are hard to follow. It was ok for me since I was only listening as part of my commute. If I was reading the actual book, don't think I would bother to finish it. (At the end it says it is an abridged version, maybe parts that would have made it seem more coherent (like other subplots, etc) - might have been removed). I say that since I noticed that once with a book that I had read, then later on heard the abridged.

I laughed so loud my tweens came in and demanded I read out loud. They enjoyed it as much as I did. It's written kind of wierd (more like a play) but it's a hoot.

Cute book. A little wordy, but hopefully if there are more books I won't need any more background on the family. I'll definitely check to see if there are more books. This was not predictable and I liked that.
