This is the 4th installment of Bretton's Sugar Maple series. Luke and Chloe's child is born and as usual trouble ensues. As with the first three books there were unanswered questions. A few instances happened where I wasn't sure if they just happened or if someone magically made it happen. And in this book Chloe made some poor judgement calls. I couldn't help but think that a woman that was thinking clearly wouldn't do that.
However, I could not put it down. I truly love this series and was really sad when I finished it. I haven't heard if there's a fifth. I hope so.
