Futuristic/Urban Fantasy/Paranormal erotic romance by Jory Strong, and follow-up to Ghostland. Arana is a thief on a mission, with her friends, to find treatment for one of them, who is sick. Arana has no information about her heritage, but she's been shunned and branded her whole life. She becomes embroiled with shape-shifters, and other gifted people. She ends up freeing a shackled man, who is more than a man. Tir has been collared and subjugated for centuries, so long that he doesn't remember who or what he is. He only knows that he hates all humans, who have imprisoned him. Tir and Arana are drawn to each other from the moment they meet. The story is intricate, detailed, with many twists and turns. Each character has an agenda, and the reader can't possibly predict what will happen on the next page. The storyline is compelling, and creative. The sex scenes are hot and plentiful. The book has a lot of action. Will Tir still crave Arana when he regains his memory, and understands what she is, and what he is? Will Arana stay with Tir, when she learns of her heritage? This is a great book, but not quite as good as Ghostland. It is definately worth reading. I hope there is a third in the series.
