Beautiful Gift Book.
When this book was first published, back in the 80s, it was one of the first basketry instruction books with clear instructions.
Robin's clear pictures and very detailed, well written, instructions made learning how to weave baskets a sheer delight. Step by step, she leads the beginner on a sure path to the ultimate perfect basket. Intermediate basket weavers are also introduced to different weaving materials and techniques. This book offers something for everyone.
I am honored to see a book that I hear is held in the caliber of the Bible. Thank you Robin, it will help thousands of beginner basket makers in their search for excellence! There are no special materials needed except to purchase the reeds which is explained in the book. Basket weaving does not require a lot of space it can even be done in a small apartment.
