Eulalee McBride admits that she killed her husband and begs Sarah Booth Delaney to dig up the dirt on hubby to prove that he only got what he rightfully deserved. However, when a number of suspects surfaces, Sarah Booth must piece together a confusing case while protecting her own neck. Third in the Mississippi Delta series.

Sarah Booth sees dead people...well, just one. The ghost of her ancestors' nanny, who provides insights that help her solve her cases, like Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone shuffles her index cards. I found the idea of the ghost very interesting.
In general, the characters are excentric and well written. I was guessing "who-dunnit" until the very end and was wrong every time.

Good book about a "southern belle" turned Detective. One of her friends has confessed to murdering her husband, but Sarah Booth Delaney doesn't believe it. Its a mystery, but also a comedy.
