This is a great book for those of you who haven't read anything about cooking, chefs or the restaurant business. It provides a little bit of everything and some very different opinions on everything. Now although I enjoyed it, I wasn't too impressed by the writing. For someone who got access to big-name chefs I'm surprised that it didn't turn out to be better. She did not know how to end the chapters and would leave it awkwardly, especially the last page. It is still a good book and I would suggest it as a starting point for those interested in cooking.
