This books ends and let me tell you, I was glad. I enjoyed the first 2 quite a bit but this one just seemed to drag the whole time.
It read like the cheap shallow action/adventure story it is. With some pathetic philosophizing thrown in to prop it up.
The Darth Bane Trilogy started strong, imo, and ended with a sad whimper. I am sad :-(

Star Wars: Dynasty of Evil is the final novel in the Darth Bane trilogy. In this one, some time has passed since Darth Bane has gone into hiding to plot the eventual takeover of the Republic by the Sith. He is faced with two problems, though. One, he is getting older and his body is failing him. And two, his apprentice doesn't have the necessary courage or ambition to destroy him and take his place, fulfilling the Rule of Two. So, Bane undertakes a quest to try to find a more worthy disciple...or perhaps find another way. Meanwhile, he will face treachery from without and within as his pupil decides she must take him out before he replaces her. Not only this, but an old foe from his past seeks revenge and has the means to exact it. This book is good, but the Darth Bane trilogy never really lived up to the promise of the first novel. Still a great sci-fi saga, it could have been better. Star Wars fans will definitely want to read this, though, since the ending could have some interesting repercussions to the Star Wars saga as a whole.
