Interestingly 'odd' story. I really enjoyed the story from Jean's, the main character, view point. I didn't care for the parts that were from the view of Gregory, the son. If I was to edit this book I would chop all his parts out. However having enjoyed J Barnes' History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters, the same sharp wit that I was expecting came at the end of the book when the son was contemplating God. Those three pages of the son's view I would not cut out . . . it would make a great highschool debate club presentation!
