I really liked this book and so did my mother. It has a nice nostalgic feel and I enjoyed the first person adolescent narrator. It is well written and a unique form of a novel with a touch of mystery.
When land developers uncover human bones at the site of the old drive in callie anne benton realizes that she alone knows the identity of the victim who mysteriously disappeared thirty six years ago
When I started reading this book, I really liked it. I enjoyed the writing style and liked how it was voiced by a teenaged girl in the 1950s. However, I didn't like the ending, which I didn't find very plausible. So over all I rated it 3 stars, not a bad read, but just hoping for better.
One of the best I have read recently............well written and can't put down story!
