A SF classic. The Neil Gaiman intro is worth reading too.

This tale could have easily been titled "The Demolished Man," of course, Bester had that tiled reserved for another of his classics. The main character, Gully Folye, is a classic conflicted hero and I hope this tale is studied in a classroom or two. The tale is packed with fast paced adventure but it is much more literature than simple pulp fiction.

About a guy marooned, left for dead in a busted down space ship, trying to survive and does. Now his main goal is revenge.

Good book. After starting this book I had to put it down; it was too hard for me to read, this guy (Gully Foyle, main character) is despicable and harsh. But I later came back to it and I'm glad I did; it's quite a story. I liked it, but I don't think I'll read it again. Excellent writing. After I read this I sought out other works from this author.
