This is the first book in the Bluewater Bay series by Riptide Publishing.
I really wanted to like this book. Interesting premise and I like the author but...
While there was nothing really wrong with it, it just felt flat. I couldn't connect with Levi at all. I thought his reasons for staying in the closet were simplistic given his age and circumstances.
Carter was adorable but I didn't like that he knew Levi was in the closet and then practically demanded that Levi step out after they were together only once. You can't say you understand all the time leading up to the encounter and then say Step Out or Step Away.
Having lived in LA and been around "movie-folk" for awhile, seeing the (little) goings on behind the scenes were fun.

An enjoyable read; classic tale of "the love whose name cannot be mentioned."
