This is an incredibly thrilling page turner which is not at all what I was expecting from Louise Penny. I deeply appreciate her Three Pines series with its thoughtful and therapeutic pace and way of being so I was very surprised at the nonstop threat of attack and explosions in this book. (I guess that's on me - after all, the title is State of Terror!) I think this will be very much enjoyed by readers of Daniel Silva or David Baldacci.
