I love everything Katie Fforde has written. This slightly-more-sophisticated romance novel follows her typical formula (down on her luck but feisty heroine comes of age-sees the lovelight and falls for initially-inappropriate man) but her writing is full of zest. Despite its non-feminist approach, this book is highly enjoyable!!
Another terrific book by this wonderful author. Funny, romantic, and full of real life situations that will ring ruefully true.
I really enjoyed this book. I like England and old houses and found this book to be like an old friend.
This author keeps getting better, each time I read her books. Hetty turns her uncles old mansion into a paying enterprize and she makes a lot of friends in the bargain. Very exciting and romantic story. Worth the Read!!
