This is another of "Dutch" Leonard's great thrillers - I believe it was made into a movie starring Burt Reynolds. Very readable and fun.
As always, Leonard writes one that is extremely difficult to put down.

Elmore Leonard is the best writer of crime fiction working today. The hero of this book is an ex-con on a mission to get paid for a minor crime he's unwittingly become part of and we can't help but admire his panache and cheer him on.
