Third in the less popular series by the author known for the Encyclopedia Brown books. Much like the Encyclopedia Brown books, these mysteries require the reader to pay careful attention to detail.
I do so enjoy these. I loved Encyclopedia Brown, and this is by the same person.
I figured out many of these (yay!). Some of the ones I didn't get I just missed. (boo!). However, there were a few that even after reading the explanation I thought it was more than a bit flimsy and borderline. One is very dated, and anything that relys on fashion--well, I've seen at least one celebrity break that rule. Well, correction, the one dealing with fashion in terms of employment made perfect sense.
I think I managed not to give anything away. :) These are fun, and short. It's amazing that a clue can be hidden in 2 pages. But they are, and most of them are prefectly logical.
