One of my very favorite Hoag novels. Fast paced thriller that keeps you guessing, and characters that you can believe in and root for. The heroine is worthy of cheering for.

This book was great! A very excited story with a little bit of love and attraction romance as well. I thought I had the story figured out until then end when I got surprised that I was wrong. It was great to be surpised when you think you got the story figured out. Read this book it is really a good read.

Elizabeth Stuart plans to make a new life for herself and her son Trace after a painful divorce. What she doesn't count on is discovering a murder and coming up against an ex football player sheriff. Good Hoag read, suspenseful, if not a bit obvious and good, tame romance. Recommended.

Too much descriptions, too draggy until just boring

Slower than Hoag's thrillers usually are, this one drags through the setup when a woman who has recently moved to a small Minnesota town finds a body at a construction site and finds herself the prime suspect in the murder.
