Wonderful, wonderful book in the beginning, but about halfway through, she starts losing steam and becomes, for lack of a better word, "eh". Leaving many loose threads just hanging there, making you want to grab them all and tie them in knots (or bows)...kind of like real life! Well, except for the really sappy ending.
