Third installment in the needlecraft mysteries and the best one so far. The writing has really come together, the characters personalities solidified and the details fine tuned to perfection. Looking forward to reading the rest in this series!

So far, this is my favorite in the Needlecraft Mysteries. This was not so much a find-the-killer mystery as to find someone who is TRYING to kill (and failing with several attempts). A real page-turner.

What fun to have a story around needlecraft. All the charters seem to come alive. Yet has a nice mystery and one that keeps you turning the pages
I'm really enjoying this series, the characters are developing nicely. In this third volume, with Christmas approaching, someone is trying to kill Betsy Devonshire. She can't figure out why - aside from the two murderers she helped put away, the only new things she is involved with are volunteering to supply the materials for an old tapestry that the church is trying to restore, and trying to kick her ex-husband out of her life again, as he shows up in town to weasel his way back into her affections. With her good friend, police-officer-turned-bodyguard Jill, she tries to solve the mystery as fast as she can before the would-be killer strikes again.
I couldnt put this book down, I really enjoyed reading it.
I plan to order more books by this author.

Great light reading! I enjoy the entire series.
Good read, complicated story, but like some mysteries, you begin to gather the clues but wonder who they connect to.

This is the third book in the series about a craft shop owner who solves murders on the side. Very enjoyable, and even comes with a cross stitch pattern for you to try!

Small-town needleworkers stitch together the clues to a crafty crime. The art of needlecraft requires patience, discipline, and creativity. So, too, does the art of detection.

A decent mystery revolving around a church scandal. Just a tad too religious for my tastes.
