This is the first in a trilogy by a seasoned writer. Ann Rinaldi is an engaging writer, you won't want to put the book down until it is finished. Each book in this trilogy is of equal quality. Rinaldi, weaves the story with very real characters, historical facts, family relationships, intrique, and love. This trilogy is written for young adults and all who like a well written story.
