Great read! Suzanne never disappoints! =)
Eh. This story was slow and uninspired. The explanation for Jack's previous killing was pretty lame, he wasn't the strongest hero I've ever read. Lilith was kind of boring and silly and while the huge age gap is often done in historical romance, somehow when the girl is 18 it just feels creepy.
I completely disagree with the reviewer who says it is filled with steamy sensuality. It is absolutely not. Enoch writes very brief, somewhat expurgated love scenes in her historical romances. I think if you are accustomed to reading Regency that has a kiss on the lips as the most sexually titillating scenes, then that reviewer is correct. But this is no where near the type of love scenes in a Mary Balogh or Lisa Kleypas book.
I LOVED Suzanne Enoch's contemporary mystery series about Samantha Jellicoe. Her historicals just don't work for me. The writing, pacing, characterization is so much weaker, it's almost like it is an entirely different author.

Jack Faraday, the Marquis of Dansbury, has no interest in being respectable. Nor is he interested in proper ladies pursuing marriage--until he looks across a room and into the emerald eyes of Miss Lilith Benton. When she publicly snubs him, Jack is furious and vows to exact revenge by seducing the lady known as the Ice Queen.
Lilith is aghast to learn that the man whose dark eyes stirred such excitement in her is the notorious Marquis of Dansbury. She's intent only on restoring her family's good name and making a respectable marriage; being pursued by a scandalous rake is not in her plans. Unfortunately, her heart won't listen to her good sense.
Stolen kisses and midnight escapades endanger both Lilith's reputation and Jack's heart. When they are forced to conspire to clear their names after a duke's mysterious death, hot desire soon replaces innocent kisses. Stolen Kisses is a delightful read, filled with tart, witty repartee, life-threatening danger, villainous dukes, and enough heart-shuddering sensuality to satisfy the most demanding reader. Somewhere in novelist's Heaven, revered Regency author Georgette Heyer must be smiling with delight about Suzanne Enoch's Regency romances.
