This explanation of Stonehenge is well-organized and engaging. I wish there were photos of the essential parts of this story.

Amazingly, Stonehenge was completed in three distinct periods. It began about 3000 BCE and was created by a series of Neolithic ancestors. It is one of the world's wonders, a UNESCO Site, and England's most well-known prehistoric monument.
