This is a classic Terry Brooks style novel in one of his many story telling series and it does not disappoint. It is action pack with turns and twists in it and is just a good read. For any reader of this genre I would highly recommend it.

Thrilling conclusion to this fourth Shannara series.
I believe that Terry Brooks is one of 2 or 3 of the best Science Fiction Fantasy authors writing today. I have every one of his books and had somehow missed Shannara. I was fortunate enough to find it through Paperback Swap and enjoyed it thoroughly. I don't believe it's one of his best works, but it's certainly excellent. If you're a fan of the genre, it's a must read. It can be read as a stand alone piece, but it's much better when read as part of the trilogy "High Druid of Shannara". Excellent story line and unusually creative. Good dialog and unusually good characters. I rate it 4 stars instead of 5 only because Brooks as set the bar so high with many others of his works. A definite "must read" regardless!
