This was a great book full of suspense, and would make an excellent gift for any other 13 year old girl. It was truthfully one of the best books i have ever read!

From the cover - Who - or what - is trying to take over Laurie's life?

Have you ever been haunted by the feeling that someone is spying on you, lurking around your hose and yard, even entering your bedroom? Are you friends plotting against you when they say they've seen you do things you know you haven't done? What's going on - and does Laurie really want to find out?

A long-lost evil twin and astral projection, what's not to love? I've initially read this book as a young teenager and picked it up again recently. The second time around I still raced through it, caught up in the mystery of discovering the secret sister and the dangers she brought with her. The Native American cultural aspect adds an interesting flavor and makes you want to go off and read more into it. The relationships and protagonist growth are appropriate for the characters' ages without being obnoxiously teen-angsty. I recommend to anyone as a quick intrigue read and for teens who like a little thrill without the horror aspect.
