What can I say about this book. I grew up in a Christian home and I am a gay man and wow, this book was an encouragment I needed TO HEAR. This author lays his soul, issues and love for God out on the table for all to see and in the end,,,, well I cant tell you that!

I found much value in this book. I found his exploration of theology especially interesting, in particular his evolving view of some of the Old Testament stories. Mel White tells a very personal story that I had not heard elsewhere. This is a voice that deserves to be heard.

The story of Mel White's life in the Christian ministry is an excellent resource for those who struggle to reconcile their faith with their sexuality. As a ghost writer for Jerry Falwell, White has inside knowledge of how conservative America really feels about homosexuals.

Very interesting. and great insight into the feelings of a person born with an orientation that goes against the grain. Very touching and well written.
