I found this book to be a fascinating mapping of the brain and scientific explanation for how our ability to use the right brain effects our ability to live in the moment. I have much more respect for the roles the left and right brain play in my life, and, with the knowlege I now have, better use them to my advantage! I think this book would be invaluable in helping someone not only cope but assist a loved one who has suffered a stroke. Certainly, there's a lot more going on behind the veil than one might think.

Fascinating book, and very easy to read. She explains the brain's structure and capabilities very clearly. I never realized our two hemispheres were so different.Great motivational story.
