Great fun. Wacky in a nice way. I loved the "talking" cat (actually telepathic). And an offbeat (to say the least) cast of characters.

By far, this was one of the BEST books I've read! It had a little bit of everything -- from a silly old-man ghost, to a little mystery and romance to the funniest "cat" talk ever! Highly recommended.

Very quick, funny read by veteran romance writer, Kasey Michaels. Kasey's writing style varies, and I'd call this one a lighthearted romantic beach read. Grab it now & sit back and laugh!

Even in a place called Shangri-La, shacking up with her gorgeous ex-fiance wasn't career-driven Darcie Reed's idea of fun. But thanks to her crazy uncle's will, she has to live with Cameron Pierce for thirty days in the old homestead-or watch a sizable fortune go to a taling cat named Lucky!
Tacky lawn ornaments, a homicidal housekeeper, her uncle's ghost and the damn cat are just the beginning. The real trouble in Shangri-La begins when sparks start to fly between Cameron and Darcie-and the undeniable attraction they once shared threatens to come back to life with a vengeance.
Thirty days in Shangri-La just might be the longest month of Darcie Reed's tidy little life!

A good read. Kasey Michaels is always enjoyable to read. In this book the main character has to live in her uncle's house for thirty days to get her share of the estate. The catch -- she has to spend it with her ex-finace. Very good character dynamics and plot twists.

a very fun read. I didn't figure out the twists and turns of this book til the very end.
Not one of her best stories, but very funny. Quick read.
Great chick-lit and very funny! Light and breezy!
the story of two people who got engaged while in lust - not love - and how they learn more about each other with the help of a ghost and a talking cat. (only the ghost can hear the cat.) Good book. Solid Kasey Michaels
A really fun book, with Darcie Reed trying to qualify to inherit her uncle's homestead, called "Shangri-La, while dealing with her uncle's ghost and sparks flying between her and hunky Cameron.

This was a really fun read! Kept me interested from beginning to end!
It's whats life all about.Communication is part of what love is.Understanding what you want and what makes you happy. These two know that they have love. But how is one to explain when in growing up no affection is shown.Very good read.
Funny characters. Story was okay!
This was a cute read but quite predictable.

This book has a lot of funny parts in it. You will love the cat!
Stranded with her ex -- it's could be the longest 30 days of Darcie Reed's tidy little life. A fun read.
Not a bad read - I really prefer chick lit, but for a contemporary romance, this wasn't awful. No "throbbing manhood" (that I recall) or anything too terrible like that. :)
