Having helped her mother with her younger brothers and sisters, Olivia knows quite a bit about the antics of children. When Eli needs to hire another nanny for his motherless son and daughter, Olivia offers her services to help with her family's finances. She soon finds herself in a marriage of convenience and mother to 2 children she is fast coming to love. Loved the storyline and couldn't read fast enough to find out what would happen next. Great book!

This is a great gift copy. Olivia Moore comes from a big family and has helped raise two younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. At 19 years old she is considered an adult and offers to be Eli Whitman , a widower's new nanny for his 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter. She gives her earnings to help her parents and siblings (family). She marries Eli to make her social standing, a single woman in the same house as a single man more socially acceptable. Eli has her promise that she will stay out of his business dealings. Shortly after their wedding Olivia's dad comes to her and asks her to speak to Eli.Eli's bank is foreclosing on her parents farm. They have no money to pay after two years of drought. Because of her promise to Eli she hesitates. Her father reminds her of Esther in the Bible who was sent to deliver the Jews. Olivia and Eli knows there is a problem, but Olivia pretends she does not see the elephant in the room. Will Olivia trust God enough to talk to Eli? Read and find out. Remember this was a time when a man earned the living and a woman's place was in the home, so this is avery interesting story.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It is a simple and heartwarming story that I found very well written. The main character is believable and real. Enjoyable read!
