This was the first book by this author that I had read. I liked the whole Angel's Bay series. She is a wonderful storyteller.
Interesting but perhaps too many story threads

This is the first book I have read by Barbara Freethy. And it won't be the last. I loved this book. barbara has the main characters Jenna and Reid. Jenna thinks she is hiding away in Angel's Bay. Reid is there to write a story. Reid knows that Jenna is hiding something or from Someone and he is determined to find out. The Author keeps storylines going with other characters as well, Joe and Charlie, Kara and Colin, so it is more than one story. I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens to the pull that sheriff Joe and Dr Charlie are fighting.
It was alittle hard to get into this first book but it was well worth it..very interesting plots with twists and turns and real life characters..I am enjoying the 2nd and 3rd books now and look forward to more from this series!
I liked this book right from the beginning. Jenna is an intriguing character whose real story I can't wait to read about. Reid, who has come to Angel's Bay to write a story about the angel sightings, has a story of his own and some demons to get rid of. Police Chief Joe (and his absent wife) is another interesting character whom I expect to hear more about in the next Angel's Bay book. If you don't believe in angels before you read this book, I bet you will when you are finished. I can't wait to get into the next book in this series.
