This book may be small, but it's packed full with emotion. I got a good feel for the characters, especially Julia and the hurt stemming from her insecurities. Henry had to go through his paces to earn back Julia's affection and trust--a new situation for the ever-favorite bachelor. I prefer a sexier romance, but sometimes sweet-and-clean hits the spot. 3.5 stars.
This is pocket size so it is a very quick read, easy to finish in an evening. I feel it lacked much depth though. The characters weren't really developed so it was hard to really connect with them. It was more of a fluff book that you read and quickly forget. Some things I did like though were that it made the point that you need time to grieve when you've lost a loved one, that being rushed to marry can cause unfortunate results, that being true to yourself is important in finding love, that embarrassment is part of getting to know someone for who they really are.
