Another great summer beach read from Mary Alice Monroe. This one is set during the pandemic so is very current. The unpredictability of the pandemic brings together Linnea and her family as they learn to weather the "storm" and learn and reinforce lessons of love, family and finding your way.

I was saddened when I started this book, and realized it was taking place during the pandemic going on. I try to read to escape real life! But I imagine this willl be the subject of many books to come, since it has taken up so much of our lives these past two years. Stories of families is always what draws me to books.I realized this was the same family I had read about recently when I read the book On Ocean Boulevard. I didn't know this was a whole series. This one centered on Linnea, trying to make sense of her life by coming home to the Beach House. Nothing too exciting, but a very pleasant read.
