Apparently everybody in this book (with the possible exception of the dog) lies, cheats, and sneaks around on their partner, and everything comes home to roost at a wedding scheduled for the family's summer place on Cape Cod. It just gets tedious after a while. Not even roping in elements of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' can save this one.
