I really enjoyed this book. There was more humor and lightheartedness in this story than in other books by Susan Wiggs. A good curl-up-and-read book. I generally don't read books in the romance genre, but Susan Wiggs is an exception.

this is another can-you-go-back-home story. In this one, the family owned Summer Camp is seriously in need of repair so a granddaughter agrees to fix it up. She hires a contractor - who happens to have been a teenaged love - and things get interesting. I wanted to go back to camp, too.

This was my first Susan Wiggs book and I was hooked! I've read almost the entire Lakeshore series and I can't wait to get my hands on the two newest books that I haven't read yet! I think this is a great into into both the series and to Susan Wiggs and her writing style.

I have enjoyed all of the Lakeshore Crhonicles books, this was did not disappoint. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this one, but decided to order it and was happy I did. IF you are a fan of Susan Wiggs, you will love this one like the others. I highly recommend it.

The more I read Wiggs the more I realize it's just the same theme and story written slightly different. But it's still quite entertaining.

I loved Connor and Olivia's story but I had a harder time feeling celebratory with her grandparents anniversary party. Mostly it was because I read Jane and Charless story and I have some issues with Janes huge gigantic lie. The plotline with Daisy I had to skim read since I read some of it already in the later books (I believe parts are written the same word for word).

Connor and Olivia were great characters. Connor was tough on the outside but very caring and giving on the inside. He was typical co-dependent and a huge caretaker. Olivia had insecurities due to growing up overweight and having to remake herself in her own image and not her parents. It bothered a bit that Olivia kind of looked down on Connor and he was okay with it. Not once was he angry that she assumed he wasnt knowledgeable, successful, or smart.

It was a decent read. It would have been better if I havent read so many of Wiggs books already.
