This is the second book of the Low Country Summer Trilogy, and it's just terrific! I enjoyed it so much!
I just love this author and her love of nature and the environment. She also consistently creates characters that you just fall in love with and don't want to leave behind.
Be sure to read book one first, but don't miss this one!

Another disappointing read from this author. Like Book 1 in the series, I f pundits this one just as boring and couldn't finish it. I'm done with this author. Sad, because her earlier works were so wonderful.
Very good story but a sad one, too
The second book in the trilogy is excellent. The three sisters continue to face their problems and deal with big changes and get to know each other better throughout the summer on Sullivan's Island. With love and guidance from their Mammaw and Lucille, the tale unfolds with beauty and depth.

This is the first book I've read by Mary Alice Monroe. I loved the story, loved the characters. I like storys about families, sisters, mothers, and relationships. The fact it took place at the beach and had an autistic child and dolphins was an added bonus! I need to read the first story in this series now!
