An absolutely delightful read and wonderful sequel to "A Vicar's Diary", although you do not have to read the first book to enjoy this one -- it can be read as a standalone book. As with the author's previous book, I found myself chuckling throughout as well as laughing out loud in places as the Vicar describes the amusing situations he finds himself in with his eccentric parishioners. This author could be described as an eclesiastical James Herriot, with the same sort of gentle humor as he ministers to his flock in Yorkshire in the 1960's. If you like your humor gentle in a rural British setting, then this is definitely a book for you! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
