Classic Catherine Anderson continuation of the Coulter family love stories. Tucker was the last of the Coulter brothers to fall in love, but Anderson introduced another family of men that I expect to read more about in the future. The "mystery" storyline was a bit predictable, and it followed Anderson's typical formula. Overall, a good read. If you like her other books, you'll like this one too.

Wholesome romance, thoroughbred horses, and fun, familiar characters from other Anderson books. Begins slow for me, but gets really good.

Good reading
This is one you can't put down!
excellent book this was the book that made me fall in love with Cathrine Anderson's books and its my favorite book so far
I love the Coulter family. This was one of the best ones in the series in my opinion. The answer to "who done it" was somewhat obvious I thought. But the humor, and characters made it all worthwhile.
I really enjoyed this book. It's romantic, family-centered and emotionally involving.
Horse breeder Samantha Harrigan ends up in jail after protecting a horse from an abusive drunk. Local veterinarian Tucker Coulter comes to her defense and ends up in jail right beside her. They meet again a few days later when Sam's horses are falling ill and Tucker discovers they have been poisoned. Sam is the prime suspect, and Tuckers offers to help prove her innocence.
Good contemporary romance. Another good addition to Anderson's series. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

I am a great fan of catherine anderson i read everything she was wrote so far. this is one of the books that i couldn't put down or when i did i would hurry back to it.
I loved this book. It was hard to put down and everytime I did, I couldn't wait to get back to it. This is the first Catherine Anderson book I've read and I really enjoyed it and will be reading more of her books. I highly recommend this book.
Another great book in this series! Great characters and solid writing leave you wanted more. Can't wait to read the next one.
As an animal lover i was pleased at the beginning of this book to see the heroine sticking up for a horses rights! I identified a lot with the main character being the only girl with a mostly male family! So that was an added bonus for me. If you adore horses you will like this book since they are a central theme. I like horses but i dont know anything about them . I was glad to find that was ok since they keep everything relatively simple and if they go into a little detail the author tells you what you need to know for things to make sense. the hero of the book is great and goes well beyond what we all to often find as a 1 or 2 dimensional character in some romance novels.

Coulter Family Series. If you loved the rest, you'll love this one too.
It's a modern day western romance. It made for an entertaining read on a Saturday afternoon. It has romance, a little suspense, and action.
This a great book for people who like horses, sweet-but-tough heroines and laid-back heroes. The story begins with an incident in which the heroine protects a quarterhorse that is being mistreated, gets punched, is protected by a handsome vet, and both of them get arrested for their good deeds.
I love all of her books! this is another book featuring the Coulter Family.
Wonderful book. Cried and laughed. Anderson knows how to tell a great story.

Wonderful!
Easy, enjoyable reading...
Samantha has always cared deeply for her horses, so when they suddenly fall ill, she's distraught; when it turns out they've been poisoned, she's horrified, immediately suspecting that her violent and vindictive ex-husband is the culprit. Unfortunately, the authorities are pointing fingers at Samantha, alleging that she plans to defraud her insurance company. Wary of letting a new man into her life, Samantha nevertheless recognizes that she must call on Tucker to nurse her horses back to health. As he tends to the horses and grows closer to Samantha, Tucker becomes her confidante and champion, realizing that the only way for Samantha to save herself is to catch the offender before the police arrest her.
Absolutely perfect.
Another great Catherine Anderson novel, she can't write them fast enough!
I really enjoy Catherine Anderson's contemporary romances. This one is one of the newest in the Coulter Family series, about Tucker Coulter and his lady love, Samantha Harrigan. Through their shared love of horses, they find their own special love. Enjoyable read.
I love Catherine Anderson's books, this was a long awaited sequel and well worth it!
Another great book by Ms Anderson!
great read. couldn't put it down
IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE EARLIER ONES. I FINISHED IT IN ONE DAY- COULDN'T WAIT. WHEN TUCKER FELL- HE REALLY FELL. I CAN TRULY SAY THAT WHEN THE HORSES HAD THEIR TROUBLE- IT WAS 01:00 AM AND I CRIED LIKE A BABY. I COULDN'T GO TO SLEEP THEN--- I STAYED UP UNTIL 05:30 AND CHEERED THE ENDING. :] SOME OF THE SCENES MAKE YOU CRY. BUT WORTH IT ANYWAY. :}

Another of the Coulter boys gets hitched! Tucker is the last of the Coulter Clan to get married because he is so tied up with his work as a vet, with his twin brother, and enjoying life as a single guy...until he meets Samantha Harrigan, and her champion quarter horses. Sam's prized horses are becoming seriously ill and she is implicated in an insurance scam. Tucker, being good Coulter son he is, comes to her aid, and helps her horses, and saves her from losing everything, and falls in love with her to boot. This is a great addition to your Coulter family saga.

Tucker Coulter, the only unmarried one of the six Coulter children, falls late but hard in this contemporary romance by bestselling author Catherine Anderson.
Tucker and rancher Samantha Harrigan meet cute at the rodeo, when Samantha faces off against a man twice her size who is abusing a horse; they both get arrested, and his nose is broken. Next Samantha's champion quarter horses are falling ill, and the expert is called in -- local vet Tucker Coulter. Tucker boards her sickest horse at his place, and their romance starts to take off. Much as Tucker believes in Samantha, when her horses start getting sick, some think Samantha herself is doing it for the insurance money. In fact, Tucker has a duty to report any suspicions, but it's a lose-lose proposition. If he doesn't, it injures his professional reputation; if he does, it wrecks his romance with Samantha. The only way out is to catch the real offender -- quickly. As her readers have come to expect, Anderson's romances are absorbing family-oriented dramas, and this one is no exception. Ginger Curwen

One need not be an equine lover to appreciate Anderson's sweet contemporary romance centering on fiercely honest horse rancher Samantha Harrigan and handsome neophyte veterinarian Tucker Coulter, who meet while trying to protect a horse from its abusive owner. Samantha has always cared deeply for her horses, so when they suddenly fall ill, she's distraught; when it turns out they've been poisoned, she's horrified, immediately suspecting that her violent and vindictive ex-husband is the culprit. In Samantha, Anderson has created a strong and gentle heroine, and a cast of family and friends proves charming throughout. This smart, wholesome tale should appeal to any fan of traditional romance.
