Great Florida Mystery with a Chihuahua in it. Good plot and nice humor.
When an aging "Godfather" thinks about writing his memoirs, the rest of the mob gets involved. Betrayal and love; family and "family". Some very funny turn of events.
I picked up the first book, Florida Straights, at a local thrift store. Having never heard of this author, the book looked interesting so I gave it a try. It was great - as is the second book, Sunburn. The main character, Joey Goldman, is a wanna-be New York WiseGuy who ends up moving to Florida. He's surrounded by plenty of interesting characters and the dialogue can make you laugh out loud. These are not long books but they're well worth reading.
