This is a disturbing story of how a severely disturbed man was able to manipulate a frumpy mother to aid in his pursuit of killing women. His perversions knew no boundaries as he was also a child molester. The story of Doug Clark and Carol Bundy (no relation to Ted Bundy) is reminiscent of Sacramento, California, serial killers Gerald Gallego and Charlene Williams. Great book!
