Excellent Series for kids!! These books turned my son onto reading!
These books are the most popular in our school library. 1st graders through 4th graders read them quicker than we can keep them on the shelf.

My son is 6 and getting into loving to read. When we came across this book series a few months back I never imagined that two little storybook characters would have captivated his imagination in the manner that Jack & Annie have. He can't wait to get each subsequent book in the mail. He has to read it right away, before he plays after school. Because he has to see what adventure they are on next. We love that the stories follow where the last leaves off so that it really seems like the series is a journal about these two's life, not just another book.

All of the Magic Treehouse Books are great tools for kids to use their imaginations. Well written and interesting for adults (if you read to your kids-which I highly recommend).

The Ice Age is very cool... for two kids in bathing suits! Jack and Annie nearly freeze when the Magic Tree House whisks them back to the time of cave people and woolly mammoths. But nothing can stop them from having another wild adventure - not even a saber-toothed tiger!
