Just two weeks after New Year's, tragedy strikes their close-knit little circle when Robert Smith suffers a sudden and unexpected loss. In an effort to ease Eric's pain, and as a change of scenery for themselves, they urge Robert to join them on the Riviera in August. I really enjoyed this book. It was a light and fun read; not that particularly strong on plot, I suppose, but still very sweet and engaging. I give it an A!

Dianne Morrison and her husband of 32 years book a villa on the Riviera. It turns out to be an old ramshackle mansion. The only thing good about it is a knockout actress with mile long legs.
Romance set in an island, Danielle writes very nicely..just not my cup of tea.
I thought it was enjoyable!
This is the second time I've tried to read this book, and I just cannot get involved in the plot. But it's the only Steel book thus far about which I can say that!

Love it! Poignant, funny, sad-this story has it all. Even though these people are rich we can relate to them and the way they handle their situations. I think you'll love it!

I'm not a huge Danielle Steel fan but this one was ok.
