I actually got this book on a whim when it was free for a brief time on Bookbub.com. Being a nearly life-time Lutheran I was intrigued by the central character being a Lutheran pastor. I found all the pastor stuff to be correct. The surprising part was how talented the author is creating unique characters and a totally engaging story. I almost couldn't stop long enough to eat lunch (his chicken salad recipe is really tasty). I highly recommend reading this book and I, for one am getting the whole series. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.
