"Sometimes what we call miracles, is just what's supposed to happen. We either go with it or stand in it's way." OMG - I loved this book. Was a little leary of a male writing for female characters in a setting like this. But he definitely succeeded! What a refreshing, heartwarming tale of three friends, dubbed the Supremes, and their journey through life. I laughed out loud, smiled, and teared up at times reading their stories. Debut novel for this author. Full of wit, humor, warmth and the miracle of friendships! I fell in love with the characters. A really feel-good read. Hope he continues with these characters; but if not, I will definitely give whatever he writes a try.

Just finished The Supremes at Earl's All You Can Eat and absolutely loved everything about it. Drama, nonsense, human bonding, a slew of ghosts, and lots of love, this book has more heart than anything I've read in a long time. Great narrators. Highly recommend.
This book was so much fun to read. I was pulled right in and fell in love with this crazy bunch from a fictional town near Evansville Indiana. There are serious situations which are dealt with in wonderful humor, and twists that I never anticipated. It kept me laughing and hoping for the best all the way to the end. I look forward to reading the sequel and I won't forget these characters.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were so vivid and the emotional stories along with the humor made reading this book a joy. I was completely drawn in and didn't want the book to end.
I loved this book. It is funny, sad, tender, thought provoking and poignant.
This book follows 3 lifelong friends from girlhood to late middle age. Their friendship is unbreakable, stronger even than their marriages, but luckily the women's husbands are in it for life also. I went from laughing out loud to getting out the tissues each time I picked the book up.
I look forward to more books by this first time author. Kudos
